Full Moon Fondue – Wednesday 17th July & Friday 16th August

Held under the full moon, book here to join us under the stars for a cross-country ski, hosted by our staff, followed by delicious Fondue dinner and dessert in the Snow Farm Lodge.

Trails re-open at 5:30 pm, rentals can be picked up from 4:30 pm. Dinner is 7:30 pm

Under Dog NZ Sled Dog Marathon 4th August, SundayMeet the dogs and their mushers from 2:30pm to 3:15pm. Race from 4:30pm until midnight. This is a brand new dog sled event that takes place on the Snow Farm trails.
Sled Dog festival8th, 9th and 10th of August Three separate days of races, with classes from 1 dog Ski-jor to 6 dogs. A must to watch.

Cobweb 5km Classic – TBA

Join us to blow out the cobwebs and get back into action on the snow. Registration at the Snow Farm ticket counter from 1:00 pm and the event starts at 2:30 pm.

Wanaka Ski Club Championships – TBA

Wanaka Ski Club Championships. Event entries and club memberships took on the day. The first event will be a 5km Classic ski at 9:30am, followed by a 5km Skate ski race at 11:30am. Prize giving and Ski Club AGM at 1pm.

Secondary School Championships – 14th of September

This event is open to any students from Year 1 to 13 who are enrolled in a New Zealand school. There are 3 races on the same day; a 3km individual classic, a 1km individual freestyle (skating) and a 3km team relay. From each race, you collect points that go towards individual and school awards.A competitive team must have 3 students from the same school to be eligible for awards. Non-competitive mixed school, school staff and parent teams are most welcome.
