Book now to join us under the light of the full moon for a cross-country ski experience followed by a scrumptious fondue buffet in the Snow Farm Lodge.
Recommended arrival time: 4:30pm. Trails re-open at 5:30pm. Dinner is at 7:30pm.

|Bob Lee, Daisy Lee & Meadow Hut open for winter||19th June, Friday||Stay overnight in one of our three backcountry huts. Ski or snowshoe out in winter and bike or hike out in summer.

|Cobweb Classic (1, 5 & 10km)||TBA||Blow out the cobwebs from the summer with this fun interval-start classic race.|
|Youth Development Camp||TBA||Early season can be a challenging time for youth transitioning into winter sports from other activities. This three-day, six-session camp enables youth planning on joining either the Mini Merinos or the Youth Development to spend three intensive days on the snow with their coaches for some extra practise beforehand.|
|Ski Orienteering||TBA||There will be a range of wintry orienteering races/courses to cater for all ages and abilities. On Sunday there will be a two-hour rogaine.|

|Snow Farm NZ Rogaine (Snogaine)||18th July, Saturday. Weather day 19th July, Sunday||In association with Highland Events, Snow Farm NZ will be hosting an event that comprises of a three and six hour rogaine, called 'Snogaine'. Backcountry ski, cross-country ski and snowshoe all around the Pisa Range to locate all the checkpoints.|
|Farm Ski (4km)||Dates TBA From 27th Saturday, July runs every Saturday until 17th August||Challenge yourself each week with a 4km ski.|
|Merino Lambs, Mini Merinos and the Development Team||TBA||These programs provide ongoing cross-country ski training for youth skiers, focusing on basic skills and techniques.|
|Snow Farm NZ's 30th Anniversary Celebrations||3rd August, Saturday & 4th August, Sunday||'SnoParty' is a weekend brimming with entertaining snow-filled games and events. Come on up and make some memories to cherish.|
|Under Dog NZ Sled Dog Marathon||9th August, Sunday||Meet the dogs and their mushers from 2:30pm to 3:15pm. Race from 4:30pm until midnight. This is a brand-new dog sledding event that takes place on Snow Farm NZ's trails.|
|Sled Dog Festival|
|14th - 16th of August||Three days of racing, with classes from one-dog ski-jor to six dogs. A real must-see experience.|

|Merino Muster||29th of August||New Zealand's Worldloppet cross-country ski race with 1km, 7km, 21km and 42km freestyle divisions.|
|Winter Games||2nd, 3rd, and 4th of September||The FIS Australian New Zealand Cup program will include both freestyle and classic styles.|
|NZ Secondary Schools Championships||12th September, Saturday||A 3km individual classic, 1km individual freestyle (skating) and a 3km team relay, open to all students from Year 1 to 13.|
|Spring Fest -- Closing Day||20th September, Sunday||It's your chance to enjoy the end of another epic season at Snow Farm NZ with fun games, races and even fancy dress. Ball gowns entirely optional.|
|Huts and trails close for the end of the winter season||20th September, Sunday||You're more than welcome to savour some spring skiing out on the Pisa Range. Snow Farm NZ won't be open, but you can come on up and ski on our trails and stay in our backcountry huts.|

New Zealand’s event on the WorldLoppet cross-country ski race tour. Experience one of the Southern Hemisphere’s top cross-country ski events with 42km, 21km, and 7km distances. Fun, family and fancy dress.
The Muster week now includes the 100mt fun sprint race which was new in 2019 is back again on Wednesday 26th Aug. International dinner on Thursday 27th Aug and the after party celebrating the achievements of many.

Wanaka Ski Club Championships – TBA
Wanaka Ski Club Championships. Event entries and club memberships took on the day. The first event will be a 5km Classic ski at 9:30am, followed by a 5km Skate ski race at 11:30am. Prize giving and Ski Club AGM at 1pm.
Secondary School Championships – 12th of September
This event is open to any students from Year 1 to 13 who are enrolled in a New Zealand school. There are 3 races on the same day; a 3km individual classic, a 1km individual freestyle (skating) and a 3km team relay. From each race, you collect points that go towards individual and school awards.A competitive team must have 3 students from the same school to be eligible for awards. Non-competitive mixed school, school staff and parent teams are most welcome.
